Fivio Foreign is making a comeback to solo work, and he's teasing a collaboration that has caused quite a stir. In a recent Instagram post, the New York rapper shared a video of himself in the studio, and at the end of the clip, he teased a track featuring none other than Kanye West.
As you may know, Kanye has been facing a lot of criticism lately for his controversial remarks about the Jewish people, Nazis, and more. Despite this, Fivio seems to be excited about working with the Chicago legend once again.
Their collaborations in the past have been fire, from "City Of Gods" to "Off The Grid" on Kanye's latest album, Donda. This teased track is a slower-tempo drill with dramatic pianos and heavy bass, showcasing Fivio's verse.
Although there is uncertainty whether the track will actually be released due to Kanye's recent behavior, fans can still enjoy their quality collaborative streak. It's interesting to see how Kanye's artistry will manifest in other collaborators' work, and recent releases suggest that his hand in creating a track doesn't necessarily give it the negative context his movement exists in at the moment.
Fivio has been working hard, and he's giving fans a peek at what's to come after having to cancel his Rolling Loud California performance. He even told Meek Mill that he's dropping something in April, so we may see Fivio's hard work pay off soon.
Despite the controversy surrounding the collaboration, fans can't help but wonder what this Kanye West collab would've done for the game if released. Its release isn't out of the question, and we can't wait to see what Fivio has in store for us. Stay tuned!
